Kay has been a long-time theater fan and got involved in a university production of Mojada in 2019, stage managing for the first time, beginning their love of working backstage. Since then, Kay has been stage managing throughout the Puget Sound area as a hobby, gaining community and regional theatre experience. More recently, they reenrolled at a university to pursue stage management as a career.

When not at rehearsal or in class, Kay can often be found crafting with their crafting club, trying new art media, crocheting dinosaurs, or exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest—sometimes doing all three at once.
